While Amanda does play the attention whore card a wee bit too much, I'm just as annoyed by cloudwalking posting pictures of Jarosh at every single occasion possible. Like it's the greatest new toy ever and everyone needs to see it, even to the point where it is edited out of one reply (close to the end of a page) and reposted on a new page so everyone can see again.

And since when did we employ the same rules all over the forum???

1) I will speak with john tv about possibly getting the ban reduced. I agree -- beelzebozo is normally an outstanding poster, and I think his comment was taken somewhat out of context.

2) With that being said, john tv had also stopped by this thread a few pages ago warning people to stop being dicks, I did the same thing a little while later, and the mood is still somewhat poisonous here. Part of the fun of this thread is having a little fun poking at odd pictures, making celebrity comparisons, and handing out compliments where appropriate. The key is that all of this should be done IN GOOD FUN. When the comments cross over into personal attacks, that sucks and will not be tolerated.

3) I was originally going to ban amandabigasslongname when I saw her photo spam, and didn't pull the trigger since another mod had posted in the thread and had apparently let it go. Mods are different people acting independently, and something that rubs me the wrong may can strike someone else differently. If I'm not the first one "on the scene," I tend to defer to whatever mod got there first.

4) amandainnswooo: I'm not going to go back and ban you...but you are no longer welcome in this thread. Do NOT post in it again. You are free to post elsewhere on the board. (For everyone else, that implies that you shouldn't bother replying to her since she will not be responding here.)

5) This is the end of the meta discussion here as well. I hear what you're saying about beelzebozo, and I'll work with john tv to get that situation fixed up. However, any further discussion should be taken to PM.

Thanks for the kind words all. Matthew Fox? *googles* Daddy likes! I gained quite a bit of weight lately but I've started my gym routine once again so hopefully can lose another 5-10 lbs! Woot! And, yes, I am Wolverine.
