Sometimes a lot of lighting can work out to a better picture. Go to a room with a lot of natural lighting and use a slow shutter speed rather than the flash. Flash always "betrays" the actual image IMO.

This is a good pic, all I'm saying is good natural lighting can better accentuate a person's good facial features.

This is a good pic, all I'm saying is good natural lighting can better accentuate a person's good facial features.

Yeah, flash does terrible things to me. But I have quite striking bone structure so I need good lighting otherwise I lose all definition and it just looks odd :lol

This is from some old digital camera that is pretty much broken, the red tint is because the flash is out of sync with the photo.
