actually he brought his own tube that was painted gold for looks. the funny thing is he doesn't even know martial arts - he just owns that outfit for shits and giggles. and he lost in the first round while I made to the 2nd by jumping around like I was in a john woo movie

Skate shoes are pretty fucking awesome because of all of their cushioning. I found through my years of wearing them, Globe shoes always seemed to last the longest.

Good pick, however I'd give the nod to DVS for making two pairs of shoes that lasted at least five years as my main shoes. Pretty damn impressive. However, I am currently rocking the Nike Delta Forces because they're awesome.

I used to buy Airwalks as a kid all the time, and I had a pair of DC's I still have but they kinda stink. =P

Cut off the toe section and the ankle support. Basically, you're left with the sole and the lace+tongue section of the shoe. It's like a sandal, but made from a shoe.

So, to correct my original typo, it'd be "shandals."
