Did you process the colors with any type of software? The colors (your face, hair, lips, drapes) are absolutely vibrant and beautiful. No blurriness whatsoever (except slightly for the out of focus objects), your camera is good.

That's nothing. I caught red eyes in Lost before. Granted it was only for a couple of frames, and was because of the mirror reflecting off the image. Still, that one always gets me. I'm surprised no one else noticed when editing the show.

Sorry for the late answer. Yes, I upped the cyan and messed with the levels a bit. The original image was just darker but still had some great colors. I'm using an old Sony DSC-P200 and manual settings. Low light + low iso + long exposure = crisp and vibrant images without that much grain. Like I said, I'm getting better and better at taking low-light photos

People saying that their camera sucks usually don't know how to use it. Expensive cameras aren't always better. I've seen breathtaking photography taken with old russian plastic cameras and cheap compact cameras (like mine).
