Hair is a wonderful thing isn't it ^_^ You can change it all you wan't as long as you A) let it grow / deal with the interim messy period while it grows and B) don't overdye it and go baaaaald
It sucks having mis-coloured though >.< my facial hair is very dark while my eyebrows / hair are dirty blonde ;.;

like back in school, i was basically a nobody, i looked like the next guy, was slighty overweight, didn't look after my skin or anything, would shave my hair without a second thought
after leaving school i decided to grow it out, i experimented with several different facial piercings, wore contact lenses, got prescription cream for my skin, lost 3 stone in weight etc etc, where most people would just consider that going from one stereotype to another, i grew more confident in myself =)

Probably depends on the female.. I think maybe part of the reason I am the way I am about hair is because I grew up with my mom being a beautician. :lol So I was also spoiled in having my hair constantly changing (I've been like every color, had a bunch of different styles..) I'm currently trying to grow my hair back out though. I went through some major hair changes in the past couple of years.
My hair changes in just 2 years. First pic not the best of my red hair but felt it showed that it was really long. I had really long hair most of my life. So when wanted a change, went dark and short, wore that flipped out look a lot for a while. Reminds me of selphie actually. Next went EVEN shorter with an interesting style to it. I had never been that short haired in my life.. I thought it was a fun cut/color on me though. Then I was bored again and wanted another drastic change so went bleach blond with some brown low lights.. First time ever being that blond, last time I was blond it was my natural color. And the last one is more recent. Went with a different toner for the blond.
Sooooo that's my hair stuff. Only within the past couple years. Only recently did I decide to actually cut my hair for change though.. Normally I'd just wear tons of different hair styles and be all kinds of colors. (Can't think of a color that I haven't really been, I guess maybe dark black. But that would damage my hair too much.)
Like I said, spoiled by hair stylist mom. :lol As of this moment, I'm in the process of growing it back out. Luckily my hair grows at a decent rate (as you can tell from the first hair pic I have tons of it myself anyway.) Probably within the next week going back to red hair as well. Seemed to be the hair color I got the most compliments on and it's a fun color to have. Otherwise, I'd say the "coffee bean" dark brown I had was my favorite. :3
Sadly for me, almost all the guys I've dated have been balding.. :lol Not entirely but in their 20's, you could tell they were going to be bald early in life. Thinning hair and all.

I'm lazy and don't feel like digging up the few pics I have of those colors though. Plus I was like 12-13 when I got those colors done. :lol These days I try to stay away from the unnatural colors due to job related things and all.

My former hairdresser (female) always commented on how great my hair felt. It's very thick and densly 'populated'. She was always surprised how much hair came off me when she cut it.
Up until recently I always shaved to 6mm it because it's a bitch to comb (starts to weave). Now after 4 years I'm letting it grow again to see what happens.
It's weird though, I have lots of hair on my skull but I can't grow a decent bear or have chest hair and I'm 23.
