New glasses from the vintage Cutler & Gross store in London, I still need to put actual glasses in them, but thats for when I get back home.

Now I'm OD-ing on delicious cranberry juice to fix my bladder infection.

Nice, those look really good. I've been looking at getting some C&G frames myself when I get myself some money.

If I had the money and lived anywhere remotely close to you, I would buy that car. Amazing. I can understand the El Camino (?) lust though.

EDIT: The second car is definitely not an El Camino. (But I'm close-to-drunk. so who gives a shit.)

I enjoy your taste.
How much does a car like that go for in the current market? Did you restore it yourself?

You kind of look like you would fit right in, in 40's.
Not meant to be an insult, just thinking out loud so to speak.

Before going out for food with some friends on halloween. Didn't really go anywhere major or any parties or anything but felt like I should dress up a little anyway. :lol

Realized I never posted a picture of my new glasses so took a quick pic with them on. :)

Wow, please wear them day in and day out. They look great on you!

Come on... I posted that months ago. And for the record, I wasn't the Joker for Halloween.

Come on... no one mentioned halloween. It's more about the Juggalo uprising following TDK.

hahaha my god what a post. you managed to turn a long, chaotic night into an illustrated story with character development, twists, archs, and of course a protagonist that wins at the end!

that wasnt quite the light evening of conversation that i expected. wicked night. you've got great friends!

btw you can post those other pics on facebook (just not any kissing photos!). in fact i might make that last one my profile pic.

Socreges, I don't know how you managed wearing a sweater and a cap in a club. I'm usually drenched in sweat if I go wearing an undershirt and a short sleeve button-up.

There must be some dance club anti-sweat secret that I've not been let in on. :I

Oh my, aren't you the guy who posted a pic months ago where you hold the camera in the air, and you and your friends look up to the camera? It's at a party or something.

If so, you've changed a lot (in terms of style).

Yeah, I think that's me you mean. Thanks for the compliment though (I guess I can take the remark as a compliment?).

There's a 4-year span between the two pictures, so go figure. :D

Why do people still wear glasses. There are two options:
-contact lenses
-laser surgery

Nobody looks better with glasses then they do without.

I enjoy wearing glasses. At this point they've become more of an accessory than an annoyance. They're very much a part of my style.

1, I still haven't found a pair of contacts I can wear comfortably. The ones I have tried all make me want to claw my eyes out. Plus, they don't seem wearable to begin with for me for School stuff or computer stuff..

2, Not everyone has the money for expensive surgery. I've also heard things about how it's not worth it for astigmatism (?) But I haven't looked into it very much anyway since there's other surgery I'd want to have done before that if I could afford surgery anyway.

Also, I've personally always had a thing for guy's wearing glasses so.. :lol Some people do just like the look of glasses. :D Not everyone has the same opinions regarding attractiveness or fashion.

Take it as a compliment. You're good looking with both styles. The pic I referred to has you with a more boyish style (simple T-shirt, jeans, longer hair). Now you look more adult with a more chique shirt (hemd dus, waarom is er hier geen woord voor in 't engels, behalve "shirt" ;)), shorter haircut.

It's no wonder there are 4 years in between both pics. :)

why do people say stupid things. eyeglasses have been around for something like 800 years, and for good reason.

your two "options" are not only more expensive than a pair of glasses, but are also much more intrusive, as in you have to mess with your actual eyeball to have them. don't get me started on the friend i know who developed a nasty corneal ulcer as a result of wearing contacts. and laser eye surgery? sorry, but not everyone has thousands of dollars to spend on such a medical procedure, which isn't always guaranteed effective.

glasses are no longer something "nerdy" like they were 10 years ago. the amount of people today who have perfect eyesight but buy pairs of fashion glasses is unbelievable. glasses are as much a fashion accessory as a pair of shoes or a handbag. glasses add character to a person. i'd go for a cute guy with a good pair of glasses a thousand times over a cute guy who didn't.

plus cloudwalking is a good example of how glasses can still make a person look hot.

Cause there where no contact lenses and laser operations back then?

Times have changed, prices have changed, guarantees have changed.

I never said they were nerdy (unfortunately people without glasses are now wearing them to be 'hip'), but they sure as hell don't improve on the looks. You're a cute girl, but I'm sure you look a lot better without them. This goes for most (well every) person.

unfortunately for you your opinion on the matter is, dare i say, the minority

Not enough though, it's still expensive and it's still not guaranteed to work or last for any considerable amount of time. It's still not some end all solution or it would be more widely used. It's better but still not great.

O.O She's gotta be in a bookstore? Right?

Aside from the necessity, I wear glasses because contacts are extremely frustrating for me to put in and take out and, frankly, I do look better in glasses (as do many, many other people). I've got naturally deep creases beneath my eyes and extra skin that has always made me look tired or even beat-up. Since I obviously can't afford plastic surgery or lasik, glasses obscure this and really helped make me less self-conscious about [this aspect of] my face. It was actually kind of nice to find out a few years ago that I was going to need them.

No offense, but I think that's just ridiculous. I hope whether a guy is wearing glasses is the last thing you look at when choosing guys.

I'm pretty sure she was just stating a preference and not saying she solely bases her decision on whether the guy has glasses...
