I started curling it like 50's pin up Marilyn Monroe style. It definitely works much better with my hair texture, and it's really fucking cute. It's either that or straightened.

Kinda like this, but a little longer & fuller:

But yea, I hate how the curls look in my picture. It was how the lady did it when I got it cut, it was just the most recent pic I have. So I understand all the curl hate in the thread.



And Relix only gave me two thumbs up for my O RLY avatar of my Shiba Inu. :lol
 
I prefer the straight hair in the first pic, but it may be due to the hair looking darker.

So just totally disregard this post. Or dye your hair darker. :P

Noo don't hate on the curls! I have mega curly hair and even though I prefer it straightened I tend to get a lot more compliments when its curly, so embrace the curls! I think curly hair tends to look better at longer lengths though, unless you have the skills to do the whole 50s pin up thing you described :D

I almost said, "TRANNY SURPRISE!" Thought maybe it was out of line, but her make-up is out of line.

And to whoever said to dye my hair darker, I've never dyed it and I don't intend to
mostly because I'm lazy and don't feel like the upkeep
. The second pic makes it look way lighter than my hair really is.
 
So I got a PM from Fatghost earlier inviting me to a forum in which GAF will not allow. Apparently they had a 4 page thread about me just from the pictures I posted. Olimario started it. Of course half the comments are "she's cute" and the other half are "she's freaky looking!"

So I switched all the file names of pictures they posted from my Photobucket to random silly bullshit. Hilarity ensued.

The quote from earlier ("Well, we've already failed. Fatghost invited her, she'll come and see this clusterfuck, including this very thread, and make fun of everyone to GAF's delight.") is from that thread.

No, unfortunately no sharp knees comments.

Mostly just, "GOD she looks like Helena Bohnam Carter!" or "Why is her face so round?!" Maybe Round Face is the new Sharp Knees?

They ripped all these really old pictures I didn't even know I still had on my PB where I was in high school/just out of high school. The pictures don't even look like me at all, which I think is why I thought they were so funny at the time.

Two other forums, and counting....
 
i think that shit happens to every girl who happens to post a pic here, lennedsay. it's like initiation or something. seems like you can roll with the punches though, a lot of "internet gurls" don't even get that far.

also, random question: is your real name lindsay? i had a really good friend named lindsay when i was younger and everyone used to call her lend-say as a joke. your screen name reminded me of that.

Yea. Lenne just pays homage to Final Fantasy in the only way that makes sense with my name. Yea, I know X-2 sucked, but I'm a girl, so it's socially acceptable that I loved it right? RIGHT?!

I switched out all of the pictures they posted with funny pictures of my dogs or funny pictures of birthday cakes we get, like one of a guy shaving that says Guy Shaving.

There was huge backfire in the OA thread though, which was fairly entertaining, if you enjoy seeing grown men argue on a forum. This gem was spoken though:
if this was back in the old days someone with my size would be a warrior who would've killed him the first time he did anything to annoy me

lennedsays face looks a bit rounder in the second pic, but that could just be the hair/lighting. That said, she looks like a healthy girl.
