Going full PC was, is and will be the best decision I have made for this hobby.

That being said I should get a Dualsense soon before it gets a price increase ( even though it's sub-par for PC only gaming as you need to use Steam Input for many games and also live with a minor issue of not having PS buttons on screen ( the mapping is same and muscle memory for 4 buttons becomes natural anyways )).

Some people who don't play frequently were buying monthly sub every 2 or 3 months and paying less than yearly sub in total, I guess they're closing this "loophole".

In the UK, Game Pass Ultimate has dropped from £22.99 to £16.99 a month and PC Game Pass from £13.49 to £10.99 a month, with prices varying in other territories.

Six months ago, news that Microsoft had hiked the price of the subscription service by more than 50% was met with anger from fans, with many claiming they would cancel.

They removed CoD as well (should never been added in the first place, dumbasses).

I think this price hike is bait. It's meant to absorb blowback. Increasing it for (just new users) and for (just 1/3 months) plan doesn't even cover 5% of PS+ users.

People will accept it because "it only covers new users", and "it only affects monthly plans, you should get annual anyway".

Eventually though Sony is just shrinking their TAM. Switch2/PC just gains on Sony making their platform leas attractive.

- Consoles are not affected by RAM prices
- Sony is not affected by GaaS and woke flops

Reality:

- Sony increased the prices of consoles
- Sony increased the price of PS+

Edit: if this shit continues...price increase for consoles, software and even services. On top of that GAAS shit and and woke games. Honestly the ps6 is not looking good. I even go back to PC gaming again after 16yr.

Man, the pro just got where I wanted it and the PC was used less and less even though my PC is better, I believe.

When I got the Pro on launch I was fading out of gaming with all the micro transactions pushing nonsense and yada yada.

We had a house fire and my gaming PC got it, so I was just using the Pro and my Odyssey OLED ultrawide which it never supported I think.

Anyway, my son had upgraded my 12900k and 3090ti with a 9800x3d and 5070ti I believe, so when Sony raised the prices, I just went back to gaming on PC and every move they make have been just pushing me out of their ecosystem I've been in even though I've had gaming PCs since the 980 GPUs with my son.

So, now I set here with Crimson Desert on my PC on my ultrawide having a blast and I believe I won't be purchasing Sony again until they show a shift in narrative. I just can't keep using my wallet saying it is ok as my grandchildren game on my PS5 regular and they will have to move to PC also.

The game is freaking crazy looking by the way cranked up and cinematic or something settings.

End of a long ERA being our families main consoles since PS2, stinks.
