Just like cloud versions of games, or other online required games, that have been rendered useless. Useless discs and carts not worth shit anymore.

Are companies facing trials in court or is everything fine ? Sounds like the latter so far.

They are setting up a situation that is favorable for them. Because that's what companies do.

They refunded money for what you "bought" there (but not for sub). Sony is not returning money for the movies they are erasing.
