Finally gave the Onimusha demo a proper try. Still undecided. Good atmosphere and lovely graphics, but the combat feels a bit overwhelming. Lots of parrying and countering. Definitely more forgiving than a Souls game though. I had to do the boss in easy mode. I kept on dying in a couple of hits. What was nice, is that instead of dealing more damage as is usual in this mode, you now get button prompts that teach you how to fight the boss. I now know what I was doing wrong and I should be able to defeat him in regular mode.
I also think €79,99 is a bit expensive for such a game. It really feels like a 360 game (in a good way). Old-school Capcom. Don't know why they went AAA full-price when Kanitsu-gami and Pragmata were priced more reasonably.
Maybe I should try the old PS2 game first.
