screw the haters, oblivion was amazing at the time.
yeah, it was super dumbed down from morrowind and was less exotic, but the world felt so much more alive and interactive... from the textures, to the physics (arrow in the bucket when you escape the prison in the beginning), to the draw distance, to the music... even the bloom. it was an absolute feast (except the water shading was a total letdown after morrowind, same with cave layout repetition). played on PC.
this image was all i needed before it came out.
