Guess we are not getting one then, but to be honest they would also have to shrink the battery, so power consumption would also be an issue. I would guess their focus this time round will be releasing an OLED model much sooner, most probably with the exact form factor and screen size.

The Switch 2 battery life is already kinda crappy so you'd hope it didn't get reduced TOO much so the lower consumption meant more life instead of just equally bad life as before. But yeah it's just another issue that makes the 2 lite not add up like the 1 did so easily.
I had a Switch Lite. I'm over it. You get stick drift? You're sending it in or buying another Switch Lite. You have an inkling of desire to play on your TV? That might've made sense with the woefully underpowered Switch, but it looks FANTASTIC* on a 4K TV on the Switch 2. As is, this is THE system. I'll only consider an OLED upgrade if it's still 120hz with VRR like the base Switch 2 is. Nintendo doesn't have to second guess the fastest selling system south of the GBA this time.
*For the idiots, it doesn't look as good as a PS5 Pro. Now fuck off.
