Nintendo sure loves Isabelle

Once splatoon is out everybody will forget about Isabelle

I've never had a hint of interest in Animal Crossing, but Isabelle seems unique in that she seems to interact with the player a little more intensely than the "customer/casual acquaintance" level the rest of the cast does

I'm more a Tomodachi Life type really

[...]I hate how imprecise it is to build things in the game. You have to make sure she stands right where you want your Communituy Project to be. Oh, and she won't let you build things on the beach. Plus she talks too much.

Well, that's a big mistake on your part though, because it depends on where YOU stand where the project will be built. She is just the character to speak to to get things going.
I think she even says that.
It's also not really imprecise. Everything is tied to the invisible grid. You can determine the size of a block by digging a hole or planting a flower or dropping an item on the ground. It will occupy exactly one block. A rock occupies one block. A tree occupies one block. There is a maximum of one weed per block. Clovers are one block big. And so on.

Also she doesn't talk too much. That annoying HHA weasel/otter/beaver/whatever in Nook's Homes talks too much. WAY too much. That's the guy who you should be annoyed of.

well that's still not as good as a good old "town editor", like Sim City or something like that. I know they wanted to make the building mode seem natural, but that just doesn't work for me. I just don't like her, it's no big deal.

By the way, I rarely pay Tom Nook a visit but you're right, that weasel talks way too much.

I think people exaggerate on Isabelle's appearance in AC. She is mandatory on your first two or three days, but afterwards you barely see her presence.
