Tried again and got 2 tickets for the $75 tier-2 seats. Unfortunately the section/row they gave me does not match up with the official website seating chart so I have no idea what kind of seats I just paid $175 for... ^^;

At least I'll be seeing them.

If you bought the tickets from nin.com then the seats will be fantastic, I can guarantee you that!

Got tickets for the Shoreline show! Gotta love Eric Avery playing again with Janes - finally a rhythm section worthy of seeing them live again!!

Doh, closest one is CO, like 12 hrs away. But I did get to see them last Thanksgiving in town.

I wasn't able to get pre-sale tickets...I don't think I'll be able to afford them through scalpers either.

This is truly depressing and puts me into a state of great apathy. They don't have a sad smiley here so I'm putting the laughing one and I hope you can imagine tears coming out from him. :lol

Got my tickets for Las Vegas, NV at the Palm's Casino and Resort (in a venue that seats only 2,500 HOLY SHIT) and Noblesville, Indiana. Can't wait. Last time ever for NIN... gonna be an emotional wreck these last two shows probably

I hope they announce other dates.

The new show seems to be completely different and completely awesome but there's no date around Montreal. This fucking sucks. Nearest is Toronto and it's fucking 6 hours of car.

Check out the NIN/JA tour site, now live. Here you'll find various tour info, media from each band, streaming music, a downloadable tour sampler AND new multi-tracks for you to create your own remixes. We will probably be giving some physical things as well as "opportunities" away as the tour approaches (we're making this up as we go) so check back from time to time.
See you out there!

I think I got a bit screwed on the presale for West Palm Beach. I got decent seats but they were about $75 each. Now for the regular sale on livenation.com they have lawn seats for $7.66! If I had known the difference was that big I would have just done the lawn seats.

Even the same section for our seats in on sale now at LiveNation.com and they are cheaper then nin.com's sale, includes parking and aren't will call!

Damn you TR!

livenation charges about 25 per ticket in convenience charges, at least in my area, they added $6 per ticket for parking plus $20 for convenience fees when I bought cruefest ticks

Here they charge $12.50 a seat plus $6 for parking. That's a lot of fees but it still comes out cheaper then ordering from nin.com.

I would consider selling the tickets I have for crazy cheap lawn seats but the tickets are will call and require a photo id.

So they are selling the tickets for $50 on livenation? Interesting, I'll have to check saturday when they go on sale for public on my area.

Ft. Lauderdale here! :) WPB is definitely a shorter drive then to Orlando during the Lights tour! ;)

Ah, nice. Well, I ended up going for the lawn seats. $20? That's a ridiculous price to see NIN and JA. Can't pass that up.

Don't blame TR for the insane prices. Prices are all around the place for some very weird reason. Some people paid $50 for floor while others like me paid $110. In other places, the currency conversion hasn't even taken place.

That said, last year I actually saved money by buying via pre-sales ($60 vs $80).

As TR said, he is hardly making anything from the pre-sale tickets and he actually had to take it to the next level with ticketmaster and all that jazz to ensure that fans get good seats (considering I've been buying from nin.com since day one, they always had good seats).

Got my 4 tix to the Toronto June 2 show.

Will be both awesome and saddening at the same time. This may very well be the last time we ever get to see NIN live.

Toronto Tickets from Ticketmaster:

CA $12.66
LEVEL 400

CA $49.50
LEVEL 300

CA $65.00
LEVEL 200

LEVEL 100 - GA
CA $99.00

PREMIUM SEATS
CA $249.00

WTF is Premium seats? From the looks of it, it's the same reserved seats offered at nin.com (Level 200 seats) and has tour shirt and poster ($30 shirt and $15 poster). Even with the shirt and poster, THIS SHIT is fucking expensive!

Just got two tickets for the manchester show, so glad Janes are coming over here but would have been interested to see street sweeper as well.

Was anyone at the show in WPB tonight?

Street Sweepers were alright, honestly Tom was the highlight of that.

JA closed out the night instead of NIN which was wierd IMO... the NIN set was fanstastic though. Loved every second of it. Apparently there were some technical issues which kept NIN from playing a final encore song but what they did play was outstanding.

What an insane setlist! I'm jealous of everyone who got to see them tonight :/ Everything they played is what I have always hoped to see live! I hope it is the same for Toronto show! :D :D

Soundcheck:

Discipline
Head Down
Gave Up

Saw them last night. AWESOME show. Kinda strange having them play while it's still daylight (they played until the sun was completely gone though).

Trent made a post explaining the venue:

Hey guys-

This will likely be my last explanation of this, so feel free to post this around wherever.

Regarding the NIN/JA tour:
It was my idea, decision and job to convince all parties (from my own band to Janes') to play before JA. Here is why. We've become tired of the "formal", very structured LITS - type production and way of presenting the band. The idea of walking onstage as the sun is about to set and play a bunch of unexpected material that's exciting for us to play without the bogged-down, flashy production appeals to me. You get to see us in a way you haven't before. Yes, it's different. Yes, the set lists will amaze some and bum-out many others. Everyone had ample opportunities to see LITS, and that era is over. We play our set leading you into the evening bathed in only white light in a physically tight setup, then Jane's come out in full color and openness. The challenge for us is greater, the set feels much riskier (especially with the challenging flow of the set lists I'm making) and that makes it exciting and valid for us.
The NIN/JA tour is generally geared more towards the hardcore NIN fan. We're not trying to play the greatest hits - we've done that over and over. Don't expect the same shit every night - that's why I relaxed the camera / recording policy. You'll likely be able to find what you want out there somewhere, from wherever. I'm treating these last shows as individual, finite, precious events that I'm sure will result in some polarization of your responses.

See you out there.
TR

Some douche responds:

Wish you told me this BEFORE I bought my ticket.

To which TR replies

I'll refund your ticket asshole. PM me.

I just saw that the final response was removed from the thread heh.

They also tried to do an encore as well, but the PA was cut off so they couldn't. I'm actually going to see them tonight in Tampa, so I'll be sure to tell you guys how the show was. Can't say I'm a big Jane's Addiction fan, so I don't know how I feel about them headlining.

Great setlists, I'm glad Trent is mixing it up between shows (At least if these 2 setlists are any indication). Seeing them a month from tomorrow, can't wait :D

Damn, thanks for the setlist! I didn't recognize the ones in bold. I saw them last night and they were fucking awesome. The lights during Hand That Feeds and Head Like a Hole looked like 2001's stargate sequence. Really strange that TDS got so much credit but no Closer or Hurt.

I never want to hear either of these songs ever again. I feel like I've heard them live 50 times.

I'm also hoping Saul Williams doesn't show up to the one I go to.
