As someone who's getting the console peasant version, I totally understand catering to the PC base and it also makes the game look way better. That being said, the total lack of console peasant screens or footage is worrying. Supposedly we're supposed to see some today tho, so maybe I'm just impatient.

Probably going to look very similar to Bad Company 2 at least on 360. I'm sure on PS3 the extra SPU horsepower on the Cell will allow around Killzone graphics.

Agreed, if it they managed to make it horrifying without becoming tasteless, it'd add a lot. The tone of the game already seems a lot more stoic than your average military shooter, though, so it's still mighty impressive.

Of course, they couldn't do gore/limbs because then it'd be even sillier when a Medic comes along and zaps you back to life in multiplayer, haha.
