I think this is a good situation for him. EA gives him financial stability, and frees him from having to chase funding, while he still gets to head his own studio.
Disintegration missed the mark, but not because the people at V1 Interactive didn't care or weren't talented. The concept was creative, but didn't turn out to be that fun or engaging. That said, I absolutely loved the villain and the world.
Looking forward to seeing what he and his colleagues come up with.
