My current mouse is a cheap one that came with my previous computer, and I've run it into the ground. The middle mouse button has never worked, but I could live with that. The scrollwheel stopped working a while ago, but I could live with that, too. In the past few days though, a lot of the clicks have started registering as double clicks, which I can't live with
. I can't take it apart, but I've regularly cleaned the outside, and blown under the buttons. I think it's just time for a new one.
I don't really know anything about this stuff, though. What do you guys suggest? I'd like something nice that's not going to break the bank, and I don't care about any special features, just need the basics. I think I've heard that with some of these higher quality mice you can take it apart and clean it properly without damaging it? That'd be nice to have if it's true.
Oh right, and I don't want any cordless shit. Cord only.
