Didja get the fries well done?

Yep, I always get them well-done.

After a bout of Gout I'm now mostly a vegetarian. If I eat red meat it's once a month. If I eat chicken it's twice a month. I'd kill for a burger right now.

That sucks man, but do what you gotta do. That said, there are days when I just get 2 grilled cheese & animal fries though that's usually around Lent. Still, I usually eat more chicken/turkey in a given month than red meat so I try to limit the number of burgers I eat in a given month.

Broke down for dinner.

Plain double double with well done animal fries.

I just got two of those Jack in the Box Brunch Burgers boy, they taste so good. I also got a large strawberry lemonade to wash those down, my god, life is good.

Had a chipotle chicken sandwich and fried yuca from pollo tropical yesterday. The garlic cilantro sauce for the yuca is so delicious.

i had JIB Sirloin Swiss and grilled onion burger. onion weren't grilled. it was just wet. almost sitting on the warm meat to soften it up.

the only good thing out of it was the handful of ketchup pack they generously put in the bag.

Had a Green Chile Double and large fries with Spicy Ketchup from Whataburger Friday evening. Then had some oatmeal cookie ice cream from Coldstone, then watched Gravity. It was a good night!

tried out the limited time bourbon steak at quiznos. its quite good. the fried crunchy onion pieces work well and the sauce is sweet but not too sweet.
I've always had poor experiences with Quiznos for some reason, but I'll have to give them another chance sometime. Too many other sub shops around here though.

Best Burger: Five Guys Burgers & Fries
Best Fries: McDonald's
Best Fried Chicken: Popeye's
Best Nuggets: Chik-Fil-A
Best Chicken Sandwich: Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich
Best Ice Cream: Dairy Queen
Best Off Beat Item: Wendy's Chili
Best non-Burger/fried chicken joint: Taco Bell

If you get five guys to make the fries crispy, they're literally the best fries ever.

Had Wendy's Pretzel Pub Chicken sandwich the other day. It was pretty good actually. I liked it more than the pretzel burger one. Wayyy less greasy and the cheese sauce and honey mustard really go well together.

Feeling either Five Guys or Wendy's Baconator tonight. Both are terrible for you but oh sooooo good.Wendy's for a national, large chain, makes a good product.

Double Baconator + large fries + 6 piece nuggets + rum and coke = Heaven

Went to Shake Shack while I was visiting New York last week and I'd say that the double stack was better than smokeshack I had.

Still, I ended up having In-N-Out (non-animal, though I did have a mustard-fried patty & grilled onions instead on my double double) earlier this week once I got home and found it more satisfying.

Ah well, it's still infinitely better than Five Guys, that's for certain.

Grease and fat make things taste better. Fact. Five Guys is superior. Truth Fact.

It does, but I can't deal with the steamed grease/fat that is on a Five Guys burger. I also enjoyed the cheese fries I had at Shake Shack - which I know isn't offered at Five Guys.

I want to draw the line on this place.

It is NOT remarkable. Why do people have to exaggerate things. Some fast food is spectacular, some just isn't. Its much more useful to be honest and critical.

It is standard beef on a generic few seconds lightly buttered grilled roll.
They let you sit there and wait 10-15 so you might believe you're getting something special. You pay 15 bucks and they understand you're going to defend your purchase and spread the word.

But what you really got is a burger that tastes not much different than Wendy's.

i don't think i've ever had a specatular burger. They are either dry and shitty, or not dry and not shitty.

The fancy burger places always give you too much burger in which its hard to shove that shit in the mouth, or stuff slides out and what not.

think the best burgers are just... salisbury steak for me lol.

Went to jack and saw that the monster tacos were back. never had them before and decided to get two along with the usual two for 1$ tacos. you're better off still getting two tacos for 1$ instead of these 1.29$ tacos :/

Split one of those last night. It was better than I expected. Dunno if I could eat a whole Munchie Meal myself though, as I tend to feel nasty afterward if I overdo it. But I did enjoy the half-meal. =)

EDIT: but damn, the bottom half of the croissant bun was flattened like paper. lol

Had some burger king salt sticks today. How anyone could screw up fries this much is beyond me. It was like I opened a salt shaker and dumped it into my mouth.

Oddly enough not too long ago I too found some fried potato sticks in the bag of salt I received from McD.
I shall note it might have been one of the first servings of french fries that day.

I just went to Jack in the Box and got the loaded nuggets because I have not tried them.

They did not look like this picture.

Instead they were drowned in cheese and ranch, the nuggets weren't even crispy. I'll just conclude that it was just the location and not the meal.

There's a place round here called Burguesa Burger, I go to it every time I eat lunch out after class. They have a lunch special for a cheeseburger, large fries, and a drink for $5. Also they have their own dipping sauce which is amazing. I love custom sauces.

Best Custom Sauce: Raising Cane's Sauce

Runner Up: Popeye's Black Ranch sauce

Raising Cane's Sauce is good, but its just a tad too tart. I like Popeyes Black Ranch, but also Whataburgers Creamy Pepper Sauce is top tier.

Tried Hardee's burger for the first time today. Was it just that one location, or who the heck had the brilliant idea to put toppings (lettuce, onions, pickles and tomato) below the patty? It was a mess, holy cow.

I had a McChicken with the Habanero Ranch sauce today, much spicier than I expected. I will have to try it on a McDouble next

Man, all these awesome burger joints you Americans have, makes me jealous :<

Last thing I had was....

A sausage supper! From the blue lagoon at Glasgow central. Overpriced and a bit greasy, but damn, it got the job done.

Some of the food in this thread is orgasmic, we really need to step up our fast food game in the UK.
