I've been meaning to try out Zaxby's since I found out there is one but 20 minutes down the road from me.
There has been a Zaxby's right nextdoor to my house for about 8 years or so. It is so delicious: Best fries in the business and you must get buffalo fingers (not the hottest sauce but the one right below it) I ALWAYS get the chicken kickin' sanwich. Two pieces of Texas Toast and inbetween is Zaxby's buffalo chicken fingers dripping with hot sauce and their ranch dressing ... so ...fkn...good. And on the side is there fries, ask for Zax sauce to dip the fries, Zax sauce is a mix of spicy ranch/thousand island or something and it's amazing.

Upon entering Zaxby's there was a map of all Zaxbys locations. There are currently 4 in Texas ( I ate at the Houston location on i-45) but what stood out was all the locations in Georgia. I've never been to Atlanta, but going by the franchise map, there's a Zaxbys on every street corner in Atlanta.

that isn't too far of a stretch. there chicken tenders are good, but its all about the zaxby sauce... which i think its honey mustard... and manades?

Yeah I drenched the chicken in Zax sauce. They're damn proud of their sauce too since it's 25 cents per extra packet. I bought an extra since I also dipped my fries in the sauce ( ketchup is for squares ).

But I didn't really taste the honey mustard in Zax sauce. It was more of a tangy chipotle ranch sauce to me.

I'm I crazy for thinking Dominos isn't half bad? Sometimes the texture and everything is just perfect. And it makes great leftovers as long as it wasn't too greasy.

I think they recently changed the recipe to their food and actually became a pizzeria, so now its ok.

I just ate one of those new McWraps. Here's my NeoGAF exclusive review summary.

Props to McD's R&D team for creating the perfect wrap holder. No more peeling down the paper wrapper as you go along, just peel the rip tag and you have a reliable wrap holder.

Ingredients: 9/10
I ordered the crispy chicken sweet chili variety. The chicken was very tender, and the breading was lighter than the thick breading on their old chicken selects. I'm not a lettuce expert, but the greens tasted fresh and was from a different cut than whats put on their burgers. It was kind of strange having cucumbers in the wrap, but it kept my taste buds on their toes. The sweet chili sauce I believe was mixed with ranch, and that was a fair combination but maybe not spicy enough to my liking

Filling: 8/10
It's on a 10" tortilla so not as big as a Chipotle tortilla but it's fairly substantial. I couldn't get filled up on one alone, but with fries it's a fairly filling meal.

Taste: 8/10
I enjoyed the ensemble of ingredients, but next time I'll probably try the chicken bacon variety. I'm sure GAF is disappointed I didn't go with that one in the first place

Overall: 8.5/10
Great wrap, and I will eat one of these, albeit another variety, in the near future

So today I went to get a 10 piece nugget. It rang up as 4.79. and there was a huge sign on the menu stating you can get a 20 piece for $4.99 or a 40 piece for $8.99

I thought me and a friend could eat 20 a piece. I was dead wrong.

I felt sick after 8. Friend managed 12

I routinely eat 20 by myself.

I am so glad I am not the only person who can easily eat 20 McNuggets.

I think I could eat 40 by myself but I have never attempted.

And the colder they get, the more sauce they need. I hate Mcdonalds 2 sauce per 10 mcnugget policy. I think you only get 3 for a 20 pack which isnt near enough

I usually get four as the standard, but the McDonalds close to my house will regularly give me like 3 extra.

I was at Popeyes the other week and I asked for four Black Ranches for my meal, and the lady warned me it would be ten cents extra after two, I said whatever. I pulled up and she was like, "You like the black ranch sauce?"

"I love it."

My friend in high school briefly worked at McDonalds and one of his last acts before quitting or getting fired, can't remember which was to bring me two take out bags filled to the brim with sweet and sour sauce. Took me about two years to use them all.

Oh yeah, eating a 20 piece by yourself is totally doable. I recall never being allowed that quantity as a kid so when I became an 'adult' of 15 or so I bought the hell out of some 20 piecers.

A related memory is my friend's cool babysitter taking us to Wendy's and we just got like 10 of those chicken nuggets boxes of 5 and dumped them out on the table and went to town. Wasn't long before we ate them all and I was still game for more. Ate some of my friend's brother's chicken sandwich.

I don't miss eating the stuff but it was a glorious thing, probably because my parent's withheld it.

We have Zaxbys in Houston? I-45? Where bouts.

Northern Houston in Spring. They just opened one on 45 near Holzwarth. I hit it up the last time I was there, but I grew up 5 minutes away, so I'm bad about knowing which exit. There's another one in there more deeply entrenched in suburbia as well.

I need Zaxby's to come near me in Austin.

I got a lil frisky the last time I went to Taco Bell. I hope this encourages a few of you to follow suit.

I ordered 2 Cheesy Gordita Crunches. And I asked if they could use the Cool Ranch Locos Taco shells in place of the regular. They said no problem! and proceeded to charge 30 cents more for each shelll.

OMG, it was as good as I ever imagined. I also realized since they have a button, I could just order the locos taco shells by themselves to bring home and make my own tasty creations.

But srsly, if you love the cheesy gordita crunches as much as I do, you owe it to yourself to replace the regular hard taco shell with a flavored locos taco shell. You shant be disappointed.

Oh god that looks so fucking good.

I just want to say I am essentially addicted to beefy 5 layer burritos from taco bell. They are so damn good and cheap I can't get anything else.

Late to the party, and full of regret for not having arrived early. I tasted my first Shamrock Shake a week ago and I've been addicted ever since. It's the first beverage I can call "liquid crack," because every time I pass by a McD's I feel the irresistible urge to pull over, buy a large cup of this creamy emerald jewel, put it to my mouth and take a large hit. In the picture you can see the hypnotic, almost soothing layers of soft green on creamy white, one on top of the other. It tastes like it looks. The classic McDonald's vanilla ice cream that you grew up eating as a child, laced with refreshing mint. Essentially, you're drinking a potent mint milk shake. This week alone I've had four, and I suppose it's a blessing in disguise that the "limited time" availability is finally expiring, as most of the McD's I go to no longer offer the Shamrock. All but one, and that one has to be the store closest to where I live. It seems for now, I will be able enjoy this verdant heroin for a little while longer.

I went on a bit of a shit food bender and had these almost once every two days....

Back on the "fitness" wagon now though McDonalds Australia have apparently already discontinued them, which is good for me but bad for when I want to binge.

THEY ARE AMAZING.

love the shamrock shake, it should be available year-round, those bastards.

biggest problem with mcdonalds: the ice cream machines go down a lot and/or they sell out of the flavor you want (aka shamrock) at rates so high that i often don't even think to get ice cream because in my brain i assume it's not available.

their new premium wraps are a nice option, i've tried the grilled one with bacon. the taste was fine but i feel the amount of filling you get for the price is bullshit. amazes me how expensive mcdoanlds is for the amount of food you get... it's no wonder most people just order a mcdouble or mcchicken... those are a steal for $1 each.

and so that remains my second big problem i have: you can get the $1 mcdouble or the $4 whatever-burger/chicken thing but the $4 item is nowhere near 4x the food, more like 2x at most. I understand it's not a 1:1 in terms of volume per dollar on every item but still. how about some more middle-ground options?

anyone else hate how mcdonalds and other fast food places use TINY AS FUCK MENUS on the wall (obviously with the worst offenders being the value portion of the menu)... there should be a law against that kind of thing. Menus should be large enough to be readable by the majority of the public. if I have a hard time reading it I KNOW most seniors can't.

Dafuq...where you find that?

Australia. As I said, they've now been discontinued though :(

I am SCREAMING at the fact that they call them TASTES OF AMERICA but aren't necessarily offered at American stores, if that's what you're asking? :P

I am offended they never brought that to America. WTF. Taste of America and you don't even fucking serve that shit here. I love jalapeño poppers.

  • The New York Classic: "Introducing The New York Classic. Juicy beef smothered in a bold Mustard Mayo with cheese, lettuce, pickles and onions inside a big bun topped with sesame seeds, chili flakes and chives. Taste the 'Big Apple' in a bun."

The Banana Split Shake is fucking amazing too:

The exactly same product gets sold by Burger King in Netherlands. They are calling it chili cheese nuggets.

Correct me if i am wrong but according to google images you can buy them at stores. I you live in USA look there.
I always loved twister fries of burger king. Then one day i saw them in Albert Heijn in black fries bags. Making it home was much much better.
