Now while I am 100% sure the developers of this game are using the name of the game series to bring attention and potentially get purchases from confused or misled folks, I assume the reason any trademark or IP claim is harder is because defending a claim for a generic term like kill zone is significantly harder
Thankfully, Guerrilla Games learnt their lesson from using a generic term as their IP name, and for their next new big IP on PS4, did not repeat that.
