KFC Gaming ends console wars....

This thing looks amazing. And thanks to its RTX GPU with DLSS, it can pretty much far outperform the next gen consoles.

I wonder if this is just a PC or will games be truly optimized for the system? Would be funny if KFC entered the gaming console game!

So its a custom pc case. Thats ok. Make it a limited number, sell for a high price. Its a fun promotional item and no one is hurting by it. if i had money condition, o would buy just for the fun.

I really don't mind this...more companies should get out of their lane and brand their shit all over the place. Just make sure I get a discount for your branding efforts.

*still hugs his Hot Wheels Patriot computer.

I love the add, it's either the greatest parody add ever or written by the worst marketer ever who delivers the world record for cliches a minute.

I hate it when companies get out of their lane.

Between this and the lifetime movie with AC Slater.

Just make awesome chicken and sell it please.

Noppe its a KFC chicken deheater with a PC on the site, no way this thing could be called a console😂

Like a lot of promotional things KFC does, they'll probably only make a few of these things.

But if I had to be honest, this thing is more exciting than the PS5 and XsX to me. And I'm being completely serious.

I, for one, welcome KFC to the console warz arena. That chicken chamber is going to be hard to beat. Maybe Sony will go back to the Foreman grill days.

Based on the Intel NUC 9 Extreme Kit with a 9th gen Coffee Lake processor, Cooler Master has designed a custom NC100 chassis that resembles a KFC bucket. While the full specs are still under wraps for now, the KFConsole features a hot-swappable Asus GPU and dual Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB NVMe SSDs.

The KFConsole is touted be VR-ready and is said to support ray tracing, so it likely features a GeForce RTX card, which does seem to resemble the Asus Dual GeForce RTX 2070 Mini OC on first look — a card that is designed to fit in Intel NUC 9 Extreme Kit chassis. Interestingly, Cooler Master claims this console can drive 240 fps with up to 240 Hz 4K displays.

Specs apart, the custom chassis designed by Cooler Master's mod team also includes a "Chicken Chamber" that allows you to warm your food while fragging enemies. The Chicken Chamber uses heat and airflow in the chassis to keep the food warm. Essentially, all the heat emanated from the components helps warm your chicken and this helps cooling the system at the same time. Pretty ingenious if it really works well.

There is no availability or pricing info for the KFConsole yet but given its unique design, there's a very good chance its cost may not really be palatable to many — assuming this will even enter mass production.

I can't be the only one who thinks that putting an oven inside a PC is so mind-numbingly stupid for so many reasons that even as a joke product this is downright puzzling, right?

You know, things like heat dissipation, spilling of dirt/grease, stable power supply? Is this abomination going to last even 1-2 years if you use it "as intended"?

I am gonna guess that PS5 and XsX have the frame-rate and resolution advantage, but KFC might edge them out in taste. Haven't fried my DualSense yet though, so maybe not
I just pictured myself going back 20 years telling my 15 year old self that a KFC Console is a thing in the future.
This is the reason why nobody believes in time travel.
