I would just like to say Capcom is raking in the dough on the DS right now. Seriously, almost straight GBA ports with Gyakuten Saiban and Rockman EXE and selling 150K combined? Milk away!

Kirby DS passed 250K this month which is pretty good. Ouendan also has had decent legs relative to it's start should eventually beat 50K. So yeah, a niche game but at least it wasn't a total bomb. Naruto rpg2 and Harvest Moon also breached 100K on the DS.

I bet it'll hit a million by the beginning of December. And if Nintendo were smart they'd ship out another batch for the Christmas rush.

Funny how this of all games will end up being the 4th/6th million selling game for the system. :lol

Impressed with the DS software sales, even games I thought had bombed have actually put up some half decent numbers. PSP presence isn't too bad on the chart either.

-The sales of Tamagotchi, SMB1, and the two Nintendo Brain Training games are just astounding. I'd throw DBZ in there, but really, that's a bit less astounding since, even though the sales are so much higher, it's DBZ and it's the first month.

-So let me get this straight: Mario 64 not just gets outsold, but gets completely blown out of the water by Mario 1 in Japan?

-Go Pokemon Torouze and Super Princess Peach. I hope both turn out to live up to the franchises they come from.

-Seems like Nintendogs is still chugging along. JSS too, to a lesser extent.

-I'm surprised Pokemon XD and Mario Baseball didn't do better considering it's in Japan. Is it because they're on a Nintendo console as opposed to a Nintendo portable? I mean, they barely beat Wario Ware and Pokemon E/FR/LG, all of which had already sold through a ton more copies.

-Go Japanese Kirby fans; they know traditional Kirby is the way to go.

-What's Minna no Golf Portable?

-Seeing the X-Box sales next to the GBA (original) sales every month is why I laugh to think that MS actually believes it can gain any foothold whatsoever in Japan with the 360. Unless they somehow got Dragon Quest itself...

-The GBA SP/M sales are just kooky. What upcoming GBA games are really left in Japan other than FF4-6? At least we haven't gotten Tales, Drill Dozer, Dr. Mario/Puzzle League, Mario Tennis, and the Castlevania 2-pack yet (not sure if the CV games are headed to Japan anyway, though), so I can sort of understand how the GBA's still doing so well here, but in Japan? Especially when they're apparently very quickly buying up DSes to play their GBA games on anyway.

I'm wondering if those games will be able to sell a million in the end. I've lost hope for SM64DS, but Sawaru still seems like a possibility, especially if it has a good holiday.
