Frame rate for GTAV on PS3 is so bad. I found it nauseating to play. Can't wait for Infamous though!

It was awful. I'll take inFAMOUS over GTAV any day of the week.

Congrats to SP for the reviews, and I'm really excited to learn about an extra 5 hours of content. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Im just getting frustrated with that guy. I seriously dont understand how he gave Titanfall a 5 (which is graphically underperforming, framerate is dropping etc.) and Infamous only a 3 which is graphically an amazing looking game, has fantastic acting / face performances and a great story.

Without the pretty graphics, you could say any game looks like an early laSt gen game. TLOU could br mistaken for an eearly last gen game without pretty graphics. So could Uncharted 2 or Beyond.

I forgot about that. I never watched G4, never go to Rev3 games, and don't follow Sessler on Twitter, but he seems like a shill if this is true.

Most of the reviews I've read so far say that it's the strongest entry so far. What you're seeing now is video game reviewers attempt to establish some legitimacy by reviewing things with a more skeptical eye. Reviewers have never loved the Infamous franchise, for the most part.

Dear god, I'll never forget how he compared GTAV to Charles Dickens. Even as a fan of the game I was still wondering what the fuck he was babbling about. Dude really wants people to think he's well read.

Next gen games play exactly like last gen games tbh.

What does that even mean?

It's not as if hardware is suddenly going to unlock ideas that developers had been wanting to unleash. The improvements and changes to gameplay can be subtle yet still meaningful but, really, big changes take time.

The first wave of PS3 and 360 titles certainly didn't offer much over the previous generation but look at them now and you can see massive strides that were not obvious back in 2005/2006.

Usually it stabilizes around 25-30 reviews, but yeah it's looking like low 80's/high 70's.

From the vast majority of impressions that I've read, I don't think so. That being said, I haven't played either game yet (darn workload), so can't really pass an accurate judgement.

Settle down people these are decent scores. The combat looks like it could get a little repetitive and like others right here on GAF said there are not many side missions and what's there is not super interesting. Sounds like a 7-8/10 game to me which I can still thoroughly enjoy.

I really like Sessler he is one of my favorite reviewers but giving Titanfall 5/5 and 3/5 for infamous is hard to swallow...

I haven't read/watched any reviews because I want as little spoilers as possible. That being said, I would be very surprised if Infamous Second Son actually merits a 60% score. If you just took the first game and added PS4 graphics it would deserve higher than that.
