Greenland Movies

Watched the first one and it was better than expected. Gerald Butler movies are a guilty pleasure of mine and Monica Baccarin is always a sight for sore eyes.
It was better than it should have been.

Did anyone see the second one?

Saw it a few daya ago, it's a fine watch, just a biy funny how the bad things keep following the family around like an actual monster; every time they arrive somewhere everything is fine there, and the everything immediately goes to shit lol.

Is it cinema-must-watch or can I wait for the home release?
Stumbled upon the first one while missus and I had our "apocalypse movie-binge". Can't imagine that, without the meteor crisis, it's as engaging as the first one.

I guess it looks nice enough and is loud enough for the theater, but you could probably just watch it at home.

I watched it yesterday. It was an okay watch - I prefer the first one more. People who like disaster/end of the world films, you could put the comparison to Netflix's "A House of Dynamite", in terms of the weakness to their respective endings.

There are talks of a Greenland 3. I don't see how quite yet based on 2, but it depends on how well the sequel does. They only made $9 million so far during opening weekend with stiff competition like Avatar still at the helm at the box office.
