Now he has to dispute the charges through his credit card, as he cannot access his profile.
Shouldn't the end of subscription be automatic in these kind of cases?

Do all your gold perks get denied the moment you get banned or just your ability to post? If it's just the latter, I'd say it's working as intended.

Banned users will have their recurring subscription automatically cancelled. Users with more than 31 days remaining on their subscription will receive a pro-rated refund upon request.
