Do we think this means 8 player co-op or just co-op in general. I know the Nintendo online system is garbage and requires friends etc. which probably excludes drop in/out co-op at least.

4 player will be taxing enough on switch, 8 is too much.
3 mages and 3 necros and this will tank hard even on base consoles.

Seriously, thats a big blow for the Switch version in which i wanted to buy. Playing online 8 players was giving most xp in D2 original , im crossing fingers they will adjust the xp given to 4 player as it was 8 players.

It was a day 1 buy for me, perhaps ill wait a bit just to read some reviews about that.
