The moment I heard this thing spread to Italy I cancelled my trip to Patagonia and I've been saving up for it for over a year. Why is this idea of sitting at home so foreign to people?

last month me and my mom made plans to go visit my grandma, who lives in a home. the place is now on lockdown, and they are trying to really minimize visitors, so we are no longer going.

then i got an email today from work telling everyone to work from home tomorrow, and to feel free to work home next week as well, and through the end of the month. luckily i usually work from home, so i am used to the schedule. except now there seem to be a lot more people frenetically buying stuff at the grocery stores.
