Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Phobia Game Studio have announced “reverse horror game” Carrion for consoles and PC. It will launch in 2020.

Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:

Carrion is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.

I just saw this, demo is great!

Gave the demo a try and had fun. Seems to be some of the area we've seen from a trailer (or at least my memory wanted to think that). Took me about 20 minutes after a few deaths so seems to be a nice taste of the game.
