De Niro grinded down his real teeth for Scorsese's Cape Fear just to look more psychotic. And he violated 17 year old Juliette Lewis on camera without her prior knowledge. The movie is iconic because it's genuinely disturbing and boundary pushing, from both Scorsese's end and De Niro's. Something guaranteed to not be the case in an AppleTV production with goofy-ass Javier Bardem.
