Hello. This is Tsujimoto, President of the company.

Thanks to all of you, Capcom has been able to reach its 43rd anniversary on June 11, 2026.

This year, in addition to the release of various game titles, we also plan to release video works.

Please look forward to Capcom's future challenges!

Happy bday to the gaming industry MVP.

Yeah I hope Onimusha is good, Code Veronica can hardly be bad and I'm sure we'll hear about another REmake shortly afterwards, sure all these remakes can be frustrating when you love the originals (I love them) but they did make Pragmata and Kunitsu-Gami, so its not like they arent trying in that area too. Lets not discuss Exoprimal.

If all these remakes give them the money to get the talent and give them breathing room to start firing out more risky new IPs and smaller weird ideas then I'd say its worth it.

Just to say...

Vulgus was the first Capcom game I remember playing but it was those early 8 bit home conversions of Commando that made me want to seek out the original arcade game. Seeing Ghost and Goblins in the arcades and later seeing screenshots of the beautiful Forgotten Worlds in game artwork just underlined how gorgeous their games were.

Sega and Capcom pretty much defined my taste in videogames back then :)

A chippy down in Newquay was my first Capcom experience, then on the C64 for the same game :messenger_beermugs:

A fair few 10ps were pumped into that, whilst the old man waited for the order 👀

So many bangers back then! Man, Newquay in the 80's/90's was arcade heaven.

Capcom has done a bang-up job navigating the changing industry.

My first Capcom game was probably 1942 arcade, but the first to impress me was Ghost'n Goblins and the C64 port.

One of the best developers of all time. Some of my favorite games come from them beginning long back with the Makaimura (now you get my username) series aka Ghosts N Goblins/Gargoyle's Quest and contemporarily the Devil May Cry series.

Capcom never truly lost the touch.

They almost did when inafune got promoted into complete incompetence, but thankfully they got rid of him in time for their big comeback.

Capcom is at the top of their game in modern gaming climate.

New IPs, reboots, remakes, sequels, you name it, they do it, and they do it well. They aren't perfect but the rest of the industry would be a lot better off if they were even remotely trying to follow their example.

Second place is so far off from Capcom it's like who gives a shit?

It's hard to believe there was a window of time, not that long ago, where we thought Capcom was done and had become a joke.

Before that, and ever since, Capcom has been fire and one of the absolute best publishers/developers in the industry.

Happy birthday, Capcom! I knew your games, but didn't KNOW you until my Super NES got a load of Street Fighter II. I was kinda hooked then.

I picked this up (preordered it over a year ago) and LOVE it. Capgod, indeed.

Congrats. Now give a new Rockman X

X Capcom! Make sure there's an X at the end!

They are absolutely the best game publisher currently on the planet though. I don't love all of their decisions, but in Capcom I, we, and you trust.

Don't forget the X at the end of MegaMan/RockMan Capcom.....or a Z, that'll be fine too. These are crucial details.

Legendary based developer!

Extremely fond memories of playing Street Fighter 2 and Mega Man X on SNES as a young boy. Ah man.

I seemed to remember that Capcom was a bit older than that, but apparently it was rebranded as such in 1983.
So… I'm older than Capcom.
