Today, Ubisoft and Techland announce the online availability of a single-player demo for Call of Juarez that will allow players to experience first-hand the gun-slinging action of the Wild West. The companies also announce that Call of Juarez will be coming to a next generation console in 2007, and that the PC version in the US will be held to coincide with the launch of the console version, while the release dates in Europe remain unchanged. Improvements to the US PC version are expected, based on optimization for Windows Vista. No further details are available at this time.

Where's my Wild West MMORPG, assholes?????!!

Someone is working on one, but they have no funding so it'll probably never come out unless someone decides to give them the money to actually make and finish the game :(

I tried this out this evening. On "High" mode the game looks pretty nice though it's sort of uneven. The character models on "high" look awesome, probably equivalent to HL2 in regards to realism but the backgrounds no so much.
The demo offers two missions, one more of a "run and gun/puzzle" and the other a "stealth" sort of mission. The run and gun mission felt a lot like HL2 actually with the physics puzzles.
The game has a sort of bullet-time mode (at least in the run and gun mode), a cross between bullet-time and the slow-mo mode in GUN).
The game offers fairly decent physics, ragdoll on the enemies and some pretty decent AI (the enemies will backtrack, run like hell when you've got them nailed and seem to like to flush you out when you're outnumbered).

The game on high runs like shit, even on my AMD3500 dual SLI 6600GTs. The run and gun mission is very playable with my settings (on high) but the stealth mission is borderline playable with the framerate dipping into the teens.

The game definately has potential, maybe because I'm a sucker for westerns with a decent story but if it's released in this state only people with serious kickass hardware are going to enjoy it.

the game looks quite good , shame it runs like complete ass.it really needs 4xaa but seeing as though its running around 20fps with 0xaa i dont think i'll try that :)

Runs poorly on high w/ my 2.6ghz A64 and OCed 7900GT, and doesn't even look all that good. As mentioned, it's very uneven.

The gunplay system would be cool except that the demo (with the preacher guy anyway) is "shoot two guys, do CRATE STACKING PUZZLE, shoot two more guys, oh look more CRATES."

What the hell?
