Beeline launches cloud gaming service. (Also a console)

Russian service provider Beeline is launching a cloud gaming service under the Beeline Gaming brand.

The service, launched at the Russian IgroMir computer entertainement expo, provides a dedicated console that can be connected to a TV or monitor to play cloud-streamed games.

The service will also provide special offers from partners and current news from the games world.

Beeling Gaming users will have access to over 2,500 tames from the likes of Buka, Mail-ru-owned My.Games and Meta Publishihng, while gaming news is provided by the DTF internet portal.

Beeline is selling the console for RUB9,990, and subscriptions will cost RUB990 a month.

Users of the device will also have access to the Beeline TV service.

Beeline said it would launch a separate application to bring cloud gaming to older Windows computers, with the app to be made available free of charge to users.

The company is also providing a ‘gaming bank card’ from RNKO that will entitle users to receive a 10% cashback from purchase on the Beeline Gaming platform as well as discounts at a variety of cafes and restaurant

Good to see that companies are still being innovative by creating game streaming services and games on demand. Clearly this has never been done before and only some several dozen companies have also done this so it's a very very open market up for grabs.

Never before have we seen such a thing.
