AI videos

Still not perfect but damn we are moving FAST

I wonder if AI is the only thing that could give us a proper live-action Cowboy Bebop.

Not saying the videos is anywhere perfect, but I could see AI adapting the characters perfect at least visually in a few years.

Edit: imgur acting up, here's the video:

Neil Blomkamp (District 9, and a bunch of garbage) directed an AI short film called Nightborne:

There's a few continuity errors and visual weirdness but honestly it's not the worst thing I've ever seen from Blomkamp

I hate the phrase "understood the assignment" but ignoring that, it's a great video:

it's hard to watch this and deny that major 3d animation studios like Pixar will be deeply incorporating generative tech in the near future, even if it remains a hybrid

When he says "locally" it's because this video model is open-weights -- with enough local hardware, you can own the full stack.

I've been able to run local toy videos for a while (with LTX) but this is next level, although obviously it will require more than the typical gaming GPU rig. Still, studios that want to make serious AI video content can own their stack now.

Man, AI is getting seriously capable. Thats some fluid and convincing fight choreography. Fights like that weren't possible with AI just a year or two ago.

Yeah! It ws a couple of months ago that most AI based fights only had closed fists. Now you see hands are open and stuff. This is fucking ridiculous to see.

MiniMax H3 is amazing guys, It like having Sora 2 quality but from local.. Takes me about 15-20 minutes to Generate a 16:9 15 second clip at 480p.

This is on a 5070ti and 32gig of system ram.

Very impressive.
