Brits, or people with naughty proxies, there's a wonderful one-hour audio documentary on Doctor Who online at the minute. It features everything - a guide right the way through the series' history, but it really focuses on the genesis of the show, the Pertwee/Baker 'golden years', its death, the RTD/Tranter/Gardner revival, and the Moffat takeover.
Featuring interviews with:
Doctors: Sylvester McCoy, David Tennant, Christopher Eccleston and Matt Smith
Companions/Actors: Louise Jameson, Billie Piper, Jenna Coleman, Nick Briggs and Elisabeth Sladen
Show-runners/writers: Russell T Davies, Philip Hinchcliffe, Terrance Dicks, Mark Gatiss, Justin Richards, Gary Russell and Steven Moffat.
TV executives: Jane Tranter, Lorraine Heggessey, Faith Penhale, Michael Pickwoad and Julie Gardner
Music Men: Murray Gold, Mark Ayres and Ben Foster
It's pretty fantastic. Presented by RTD crush Russell Tovey also:
