Also, interesting the stones are the versions opposite their Pokémon. So I'm guessing Aggronite will be in Y even though the Tyranitar line is exclusive to Y?

Considering how quickly Joe's been finding all the new stones with little to no prior guidance versus random people who got the copies early, I have a feeling if you follow GAF it'll be easy to get the stones you want.

Yes it's basically confirmed since it's a version exclusive and the other version exclusive analogues have megas.

No, see, the issue is that it likely won't be easy finding people willing to give up their megastones unless you trade them another megastone. Which I don't want to do since I want to collect them all.

Might just get Y later on.

For the people asking about how I got the Torchic, I just did the Mystery Gift at the menu screen, you then talk to someone at the pokemon centre, I figured it might work since the game is so close to release.

Ugh, true. You know what's going to be even more annoying (to me) (presumably, if things don't change)? Having to find the appropriate mega stones again in gen 7. Just like choice items and power brace (et al), life orb, leftovers, so on and so forth. Just let us transfer items already. D:

I hope Houndoom can learn Dark Pulse through level up, it was annoying that there was no Dark Pulse TM in gen V.

However, I want Charizard Y...will I be able to get a Charizard Y Megastone in my Y game if i don't choose Charmander as my Kanto starter from the get go?
