FYi the Caterpie ep

It's not Butterfree returning. Ash is helping a Caterpie to evolve into a Butterfree, but he recalls his old Butterfree, complete with redone scenes

Can we have new writers now? Please?

I mean, I know it's a children's show, but for something that's entirely playing off of the nostalgia of older viewers, that seems an awful lot like a slap in the face.

Well it has sooooome moments,
like the Caterpie training montage and at the end where he feels sad again because he releases yet another Butterfree
but yeah.

Oh, some more manga scans appeared.

Red Genesect is left alone when his non-shiny cohorts joined Ash (who befriended one of the non-shiny Genesect), and Newtwo brings Genesect elsewhere

Out of curiosity, am I the only one who orders the moves based on Power, then Accuracy and then status and effects? For example, a physical sweeper like Garchomp would look like this:

- EarthQuake (100 damage + 50% STAB thus 150 damage, along with 100% accuracy)
- Dragon Claw (80 damage but +50% STAB makes it 120 damage, plus it has 100% accuracy)
- Fire Blast (120 damage, lower accuracy and it's a special move, so lower than Dragon Claw)
- Sword Dance (status move, no damage)

HAHAHA, MAN UP! :) 2 months will go by pretty fast with Smash, Pokemon and many hype trains.

I may not have my dignity, but at least I was a man and didn't back down. And you're right, between all the great games coming out this summer and the multiple hype trains I'll be boarding, it'll be over in no time flat.

Man the writers are just trolling us at this point. It's really annoying for them to recycle such a classic episode so wholesale and blatantly like that.

Is it that hard to have Ash train and develop his own pokemon and not some random wild one we'll never see again?

I would like to see what young, new writers could do for the anime. Retreading old plot points looks like they're just pandering for views from nostalgia.

Kinda obvious they are going for nostalgia with this saga with Charizard being back and this recent Butterfree episode.

I used to do Alphabetical order. Now I just care mostly about the first attack. I make the first attack I have listed is the one that is least risky to have selected if I forget to make a move.

If you don't make a move in the time limit they have per turn, the game automatically selects the move in the #1 slot for you.

I actually do the opposite:

~ Swords Dance
~ Dragon Claw
~ Earthquake
~ Fire Blast

Although, technically, the former two moves are stronger once you factor in STAB and Garchomp's higher Physical Attack.

Well, there's this group:
Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it.
Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile (Steel/Fairy).
Mewtwo has two new formes, not just one. Both are activated via items.
The professor's English name is Patrice.
The Starter final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Fighting, and Water/Dark.
The first Gym is Bug, the second is Fairy, and the fourth is Fighting.
A few attacks will be dual-typed.
There will be a new type of battling style that Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate can participate in.
You will be able to see a Pokemon's EVs at a certain in-game facility. You will be able to boost the EVs through mini-games. It will take about two hours to get one stat to max EVs.
Of those,
Fairy > Dragon, Sky Battles, and first gym leader being Bug
are right so far.
