SQUARE ENIX today revealed it will offer dedicated video programming during the 2013 E3 Expo, taking place in Los Angeles on June 11 through 13.

The program, dubbed “Square Enix Presents” will offer a diverse and user-friendly range of programming aimed at sharing unique perspectives with SQUARE ENIX’s global audience.

“SQUARE ENIX will be showcasing a terrific lineup of games this E3 Expo,” said Akio Oofuji, marketing director, SQUARE ENIX (Japan). “Square Enix Presents is a new way we can engage on a more meaningful and personal level with our community and fans and share with them the spectacle and excitement of E3.”

Finally :)

I'm surprised the one talking is from the japanese division, maybe this will be the E3 I was waiting for so many years.

hile E3 may be the biggest exhibition when it comes to games, it's a trade event, meaning that unless you're press and can afford the flight and accommodation, you're not getting in - boo! Like most of us then, you'll be watching wide-eyed as the big stories of E3 unfold on your favourite games websites or through idle chit-chat at the water cooler.

But what if you're the self-proclaimed uber-geek, the go-to-guru for all the latest gaming news? You can't hang around to read about the news on websites! Well we've got something that will give you that extra edge so that you never miss out on any news. During E3 (June 11-13) Square Enix will be broadcasting a dedicated video program dubbed Square Enix Presents. It'll offer coverage on all the key titles in our E3 line-up, as well as all assorted collection of interviews and community shows. It's going to be the one-stop-shop for any Square Enix fan!

We'll be revealing the full program details closer to E3, but in the meantime you can get yourself ready for the show by following these key accounts:

They seem confident. Hopefully they get a lot of the games they've been holding back on us out of the way (ie every Final Fantasy game they announced but aren't talking about) and maybe a teaser for Sleeping Dogs 2?

I'd like to believe after Sony had their shift to being more gamer orientated, some developers can follow suite, but with SE's new CEO being a finances guy, it's hard to be overly optimistic.

If no Versus, I will cry and give up on it entirely.

Would be cool if Agni's Philosophy became a real game, looked like a mix of some good FFs with a unique twist. MC much more pleasant to look at than Lightning, maybe because Lightning is associated with ruining the franchise for me though.

watch the new Lightning Returns: FFXIII trailer, streaming live, 24/7 during E3.

Please look forward to it.
*bow*

That's for you, Perfo!

I'm actually getting excited.

Will watch for the lols, pretty sure its going to be nothing but Lightning Returns and Thief. Maybe some iOS games. Surely some gameplay for Kingdom Hearts ReMix 1.5 HD. Other than that, don't expect much.

I'm pretty sure they're going to stream some live FF14 beta event. They've been hinting at it on FF14's website last week.
Since E3 is an industry-only event, many people won't be able to participate -- but don't worry! We're also prepping a lot of new videos (including an awesome new trailer!), assets and even some... hm, how should we say... "live" streamed entertainment? We'll have lots of juicy announcements for those of you watching at home, so be sure to mark your calendars!

That video seems too professional and too communative to be a Square-video :lol

I bet shifting the talent of an entire company toward fixing your failed MMO will prove to be a sound business strategy. :P

No more CLOSED MEGA THEATERS?

The era of Wada is truly over! Hooray!
I always thought it was MEGA CLOSED theaters (as in, extremely closed footage!) and not closed mega theaters... damn.

In case you didn't see the conference, the water cooler is the Xbox One now. Please change your references accordingly.

So titles we know are:
- Final Fantasy XIV
- Lightning Returns
- 'next-gen' Final Fantasy
- Versus in some form, if recent statements are to be believed.
- Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD collection
- Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD

Would hope for:
- FFXII HD announcement
- New FF teaser/announcement to show some more classic FF elements.
- Some kind of Matsuno project, even though he does not work at Square Enix, some kind of collaboration would be cool.
- Hiroyuki Ito to be working on something, whether it be the next-gen FF or otherwise.
- Type-0 on Vita and/or 3DS.
