Two thoughts.

1: that is a CG trailer, and thus could be on any platform. Nothing about that trailer looks like it is from gameplay, instead it looks like a stylized battle to give the essence of the game.

2: Because of that it is also hard to pull out what type of game this is, but that trailer could be a stylized representation of a JRPG battle system as well. They look to be fighting a boss like character and one of them even has their own summon like creature.

Sucks we have to wait a little longer for details, but this CG trailer looks interesting. I just think it is too early to call this a monhun clone.

Since people are hoping for genres, I'm gonna hope it's an FPS. In all seriousness though, this is definitely not a game for me, but am happy that SCEJ is finally outputting some bigger titles themselves (Gravity Rush, Puppetteer, this). Patapon and Locorroco are fun, but they are smaller, budget titles, the latest outputs from them seem to be a bit bigger. Maybe this is Allan Becker's doing? SCEJ could do with more titles that cater to the JP audience, they are a smaller publisher there than L5 which is pretty bad. Here's hoping they can start pumping out more JP style games. I would be ok with a LOD2

That is not a mutually exclusive statement. Outside of PD, SCEJ (or SCEJA or whatever they call themselves now) is a joke in terms of technical prowess, but they can still output decent looking vita games.

It's pretty obvious that the video is not realtime. It looks like the Soul Sacrifice promo CG stuff in terms of graphic quality.

SCEJ doesn't do PSP stuff anymore and they wouldn't reveal a PS4 game on their website this early, so, PS3 or PSV, probably both.

I hope it's a Vita game. I really like the art style. Intrigued by what the gameplay will be. I wouldn't mind a hunting game in this style, that actually has a chance of being released locally too seeing it's from SCEJ.
I wasn't a fan of Soul Sacrifice's style and even though gameplay was excellent, I couldn't get past it.

In all seriousness though, this game looks gorgeous. I like the art style used. The floating numbers remind me of Death Note. The thorns reminded me of the Gleipnir black rite from Soul Sacrifice. Curious to see what type of game this actually is.

I think this trailer is awesome, idk about you guys. If it's a Vita exclusive I'm sure lots of people will dismiss it but the Vita NEEDS more exclusives to garner attention/grow it's userbase.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's a monster hunting MMO where if you don't buy more time you literally die in game and lose your character ... the ultimate hardcore experience.
