There has still yet to be a game in the hunting genre that can actually stand up to monster hunter in terms of depth with the combat system. Pretty much everything else up until now has just been button mashers.

Only reason why God Eater stood on its own is due to the fact it has an actual story and AI partners that work.

Thats the one thing missing from MH and actual story with characters that you give a rats ass about lol

If done right Id see the game selling big domestically (here in Japan), which truthfully is obviously the aim of the title seeing the graphical style already.

If they make this a cross platform game with the VITA + home console that would be pretty big. Since would be awesome being able to work on your character on the go, then get home and continue on the big screen with improved graphics.

With how the cloud storage system works too its all quite possible, if done correctly of course. Hell even just transferring the data from the VITA to the home console works too.

All attacks are limited in number, so mashing buttons = broken = wasting tears to repair.

Unless you have the JP version, had the game before most folks and after spending a good enough time in it sold it back due to being garbage once again.

Game most def was rushed. No intention to pick it up and play again due to already having enough experience with the game mechanics and horrible AI. Damned shame considering good story and monster design for the bosses.

Yeah... could it mean hours left to live by chance? That would make the baby's life expectancy about 114 years. It seems to be set in the future so that wouldn't be improbable I guess.

Again, I don't see it. The assets and IQ in the trailer are both more or less perfect. What else would you expect from a next-gen stylized game? This reminds me of some people's negative reaction to Fortnite as an UE4 showcase.

After seeing the GT6 announce, I don't know what Sony is thinking. It wouldn't surprise me at all if, finally, it's a PSP (not even for Vita) title.

Yeah the baby did, so it was either the newest born citizen or has the biggest 'timer' before death.

If they are timer's on life itself it'd be interesting it the main story line is fought over many generations where the new child is born with the skills of the parents eventually making you more and more powerful.

-OR- Every person who plays this game is 'born' and it could be something like the Pawn System from Dragon's Dogma where you're identified by your number.

If all that was realtime then no way it's a Vita title, just compare this to Soul Sacrifice, the difference is huge. Not even Killzone looks this good. Maybe the PS3 could pull this off but i dunno, the monsters look pretty detailed.
