The "acting" is so, so bad thus far. It feels completely unnatural, especially the confessional bits.
 
I live 1.5 hours away from the setting and it is nothing like that. I'm sure New Jersey felt the same way about Jersey Shore

I have heard that many of the actors in the show are acting way outside of their normal character from people that know them.

Don't get me wrong as there are some pretty backwoods places in WV, but its not the majority. Maybe my view is skewed by being from one of the larger cities.

I have just been flipping back and forth. Did they try to claim Rehab was close to Sissonville or did it say they went to Huntington? Kind of weird for them to go over an hour away to Huntington when Charleston is like 15 minutes away.
 
Who knew that they lived next door to a female version of Ronald McDonald!

And that girl was so sloppy drunk that she just embarrassed herself.
 
Cara is obviously a plant. Shae is incredibly hot and can't really be friends with these people any more. I believe this Shain guy is really as backwoods as he appears because his acting is so bad when he has to read his lines. There's no way a civilized person could come off that stupid.
 
Shae and Shain were on Fallon last night, and I tell ya man, Shae cleans up well. She looked damn good, and Shain pretty much acted like he is acting on the show right now, but seemed to have dialed it back a bit.
 
Wonder which one of these dorks gets a spinoff show.Because you know its comin.
Mtv lookin for their next LC or Snookie.
 
A dominican show with black dominicans huh...not bad. MTV needs to do one with filipinos...dear god would that be hilarious!

As for this show...I just can't.

Three people were found dead Monday in the Sissonville area in a vehicle, including "Buckwild" cast member Shain Gandee, Kanawha County Commissioner Kent Carper said.

Family members and emergency personnel at the scene also said Shain Gandee was found in the vehicle dead along with his uncle, David. The two men had been reported missing for about 31 hours. The name of the other person who was found in the vehicle was unavailable.

A person on a four-wheeler discovered three unresponsive people in a vehicle Monday morning. Emergency responders converged in the Wolf Pen Road area in Sissonville after reports that a vehicle had been discovered.

David and Shain Gandee last told people they were going four-wheeling in a sport utility vehicle. They were reported missing overnight, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.

Shain and David Gandee were last seen at Larry’s Bar in Sissonville about 3 a.m. Sunday. The release said the two men said they were going four-wheeling in Shain Gandee’s Ford Bronco. No one knows where they planned to ride, or the direction in which they left.

Neither is known to have contacted any family members since that time. Family members spent most of Sunday trying to locate or contact the two men before calling 911 to report them missing.

Both of the mising men are from the Sissonville area, have taken vehicles off-road all over Sissonville and throughout other parts of Kanawha County.

David Gandee is 48 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighs 225 pounds. He is a white male with green eyes and brown hair. Shain Gandee is 21 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He is a white male with brown eyes and brown hair.

They were last known to be in Shain Gandee’s vehicle, a 1984 Ford Bronco with oversized tires. The bronco is red and white in color. The West Virginia license plate number is 3UD308.
