The speed with which he resigned is very questionable, and every day the story seems to get worse. I have a feeling there is still more to this, and we may just realize in time why he quit so earnestly. High level security clearances and things of that nature do not mix well together. For instance if you are doing a full scope polygraph and they find out you are having an affair you are given two options, you tell your spouse or the agency involved does. Things that can be used as blackmail are not messed around with, especially if it is information you tried to hide.

The FBI agent who launched the investigation was thrown off the investigation when it was discovered he had sent topless pics to Jill Kelley.
