On a side note, still worries me that international distribution plans haven't really been talked about...hope the rest of us outside the US don't have to wait too long (if at all) to see the new season.

Wife and I watched the entire series together over the summer via XboxLive(AmazonPrime). Some great quality time, allowing us to bond more while she is pregnant.

We enjoyed it a lot. We were saddened when it was over... looking forward to the new epsodes.

I do not understand the question, and I won't respond to it.

Family Guy cancelled too soon...petitioned and saved by the fans...comes back strong as fuck from the word of mouth of the cancelled series growing exponentially.

Comes back, is a huge success.

But hopefully quality wise, AD is much better than that of the new Family Guy.

Arrested Development was already a huge success, but it had the misfortune of being a great show on FOX.

Fox gave it a lot more time than other networks would have. They kept shuffling it to keep it alive too. I don't know that they could have done too much more -- it was a critical darling but clearly too smart for a lot of the audience and it also relied so heavily on callbacks that it was hard to get new viewers.

This is their chance to resolve all of the character arcs they conceived (and hopefully planned to resolve) in the mythical full third season (and maybe a 4th season?), and I'm optimistic they're approaching it that way.

and mega lols at GOB in that wide family photo.

Critically, yes.

Though that may all be the straight truth, I don't think I will ever get over my disgust at they way they've handled great programming. The shuffling schedules comment does nothing but keep me incensed, reminding me of how thoroughly they fucked over Futurama with that shit.

I'm sure Netflix UK was confirmed somewhen.

The Red Dwarf episode was pretty good and it has given me a bit more hope that a comeback can be done.
