Is there any way to speed this download along or cancel it? 'Cause it'll be tomorrow morning before I get to log back into Steam at this rate.
Have you tried it with a normal generic gamepad configuration, no special drivers? (assuming you have a Logitech or something)
This needs to get fixed, right now:
I can't see the categories above the edge of the screen, so I can't see what I'm selecting, which makes my entire category setup completely useless.
And not being able to use the D-pad to navigate sucks incredibly hard. That's an oversight I can't believe they've made, considering how awful it is to navigate an interface like this using an analog stick.
I got the update the moment I did opt in, so no, that's not it. Try opting out and then in again, perhaps?
They're not magicians. And I don't know of the problem you're referring to since nearly every game these days is a console port with narrow FOVs and huge, overscan-safe HUDs.
Probably been said by now but:Anybody know if there's a command line parameter that you can add to a Steam shortcut? Trying to make a Windows 8 tile that opens directly into BigPictureMode.![]()
The guide button launches it from the desktop as well, holy shit!
They don't work at all for me.Do some custom game grid icons not work for anyone else?
When it comes to the buggy categories menu, sure. But when it comes to the omission of D-pad navigation? Having a really hard time believing that's a bug. A beta is supposed to be feature-complete, so it sure seems to me like they simply left that very important feature out.
I'm not seeing it? :^( How do I access it?
Working for me. Persona 4's is here. They don't work at all for me.

I just love the simplicity with this menu. Looks so awesome on my LCD.
Provided it doesn't do that when you're using it in some other app/game, at least. You mean if you're doing something else with steam minimised, you can just pick up your wireless controller, hit the guide button and BPM will launch? That's perfect

So cool that the xbox middle button opens up Big picture mode when your in regular steam.
Ah, that's good news!Working for me. Persona 4's is here.
Along with all of my other custom Icons
Whats the guide button >_<?
Fuck, this doesn't even detect which monitor I want to use and defaults to primary. Which I'd imagine is the opposite of what most people a TV as a 2nd monitor would want.
There are some games that can be full screened on either monitor easy just by ALT+Entering while it's window is on the monitor you want it in, other games have an option to choose which monitor to use. Why would Greenlight not have something like this?
Hell I was hoping it would force all the majority of games that go to primary with no way to change it to go to the monitor BPM was on...
Also, most of my custom grid view images don't show up in BPM for whatever reason. They still work in regular Steam.
And no D-pad support... c'mon...
Seems that the 360 pad is now the preferred pad for Steam...
Why don't I get the Beta?! Checked for a client update and everything, but no Big Picture mode anywhere.

Love this, very slick. Does the sound "stutter" for anyone else in the startup sequence?
It sucks that there's not even a configuration file for controllers that aren't natively supported. But I guess that's what a beta is for.Seems that the 360 pad is now the preferred pad for Steam...
