Fuck I missed the preview and the last couple seconds. Anyone want to tell me what happened with Korra and Mako? He was "oh so worried" and then I had to turn off the TV.

Goddamnit. Everything just moves so fast. So damn fast. The twists and turns are so awesome and so shocking but it just suffers so much from pacing issues because of it.

Everyone calm down, there is an episode next week.

There's three episodes to go, and the finale is two episodes rolled into one, so there's an episode next week too.

The last couple of seconds seem to show a subdued Mako on the floor watching while Amon takes Korra's bending.

So what the hell is Amon? He have a amulet of resist blood-bending or what? This is throwing a lot of support to the "not human" theory.

I don't believe you.

Maybe he is Koh. Did anyone else notice how his eyes faded out of existence during his Tarlok fight? Just pure black.

Ugh, Mako is still quite the unlikable character to me. He kisses Korra and doesn't tell Asami about it (and had no intention to). And now he's completely ignoring Asami. Not that I'm a Mako/Asami shipper or anything, but he's just being an asshole to her.

How could a character named after the amazing voice actor for Iroh and Aku turn out so bad?

Meanwhile, Bolin is genuine and nice to both girls. I hope he ends up with both of them somehow, leaving Mako with his scraf.

Man Amon getting kinda blood bent and then resisting was so great.

This episode was so freaking fast though. I hope next week is important too and not some shipping bullcrap before the final because it really needed to be a two parter as well.

I called it! I CALLED IT!

This is assuming bloodbending even works on Amon, which I highly doubt it does. Come on, if it did, Tarrlock could've stopped his rebellion quite easily and subdued Amon and a hero to Republic City.

:O

I wish this show would drop the Mako-Korra thing. It was the only the bad thing in an otherwise amazing episode. Amon is such a boss and the flashbacks were awesome.

Good ole Twinkle Toes.

You already know it will be. Nothing else to do. Asami is reaching the boiling point.

I think it's pretty refreshing, really. Especially after having watched Anime get worse and worse at "dragging" on points. I like the fact the show kninda knows what you're speculating, and deals with it in fairly short order.

They get a LOT done in an episode, and it gives it a bit of a "monster / ordeal of the week" style feel, while still lending to an overall plot very effectively.

Just a classy show overall, really enjoy how it takes so many things others seem to think could never work, and yet makes them work really, really well.

Oh man, that was such a good episode.

Though I'm a little bit disappointed that the Yakone thing basically devolved into, well, basically a side arc. I'm hoping there's more to it than that, and that it somehow ties into the Amon arc too. The solution is fine as it is, but is that all we're going to see of Aang? A mere side story resolved with some engerybending and that's that?

And as for the shippers, I bet they're all jubilant this week. Mako has finally realised his true love. *snore*

In regards to the next three two weeks:
Fucking hell. So much shit going on there. I saw gliders/jets dropping bombs, I saw Korra possibly Mako losing their bending, but still no Korra airbending. What's up with that?!

Good ole Twinkle Toes.

Seriously, I thought they got that fucking shit sorted back at the end of the tournie and with the Hiroshi thing.

Didn't Amon walk through moonlight or some light and the bloodbend stopped?

Edit: The prosecutor looked kinda like Katara, no?

Was there a full moon in this episode? The lawyer did say Yakone didn't bloodbend during a full moon. I thought it was Yakone just playing the legend to his benefit.

Yep. So cringeworthy and annoying it seems to pop up in every episode.

But it was a small blemish on an excellent episode. Loved seeing the old Gaang older. Their voices were all perfect and Toph still calling Aang Twinkle Toes had me grinning like crazy.

Gotta love Sokka's reference to Combustion Man as well. I wonder if he ever got his boomerang back...

Perhaps he is actually a bender himself, but maybe like an anti-bender. Able to take away and negate other's bending when used against him?

Kind of makes sense in relation to Sokka's speech about how new forms/ways of bending are being discovered every so often. So why not an anti-bender?
