Today I learned about the 96kb tech demo .kkrieger. Incredibly impressive for something that small. Apparently it builds up all of the elements through scripts so there aren't any image files or such.

Today I learned about the 96kb tech demo .kkrieger. Incredibly impressive for something that small. Apparently it builds up all of the elements through scripts so there aren't any image files or such.

It's amazing how people are discovering this now. I remember downloading betas of this back in 2006 or so. Which was a long time ago. It is a neat demo that relies entirely on code to generate the building blocks of assets. It is all procedurally generated. The goal was always to keep it under 100KB, I think. I haven;t even looked at the latest versions of this. It's a neat demo, because no mater how old it gets, the textures/ assets will never look pixelated or blurry, because the assets scale with the hardware.
