It was probably more exciting to listen to on the radio than it was to watch.I don't even watch futbol anymore, I live in Spain but I rather listen to it on the radio.

I'm 100% tuning in. I think it will be worth it.Y'all think the USA - Belgium match will be lit? It's at 2a.m. here and while I dont need to go to work tomorrow, I don't know if it'll be worth it. I can imagine seeing some sparks though.
Don't underestimate Egypt. They play good footballYeah but some games are too unbalanced. I mean... Argentina vs. Egypt...![]()

And yet, we're all still here pissing and moaning and watching it. My comment was mainly the last few weeks/days. We all know this had been going on longer than any of us have been alive. It certainly did. I remember the uproar when Qatar "won" the world cup 2022 vote, meaning the tourney moved to the winter months. Then there was the 2015 corruption scandal.
This is just another one to chalk up for FIFA, but for some it's the straw that broke the camels back.
My wish is that UEFA and others breakaway and reform. I understand UEFA aren't saints, but FIFA is rotten to the core and beyond redemption.
I'm 100% tuning in. I think it will be worth it.
I do love Coffee (I onced owned a Coffee shop) but those sweet dreams tops it at timesSleep is for the weak.

I'm debating... I do have to work tomorrow and for, well, reasons, it won't be an easy day. I really shouldn't.
I can operate on 4-5 hours of sleep without coffee. I went to sleep 4am yesterday woke up at 8:30am, went about my day, and I'm still awake. If you have responsibilities, you should obviously prioritise them.I do love Coffee (I onced owned a Coffee shop) but those sweet dreams tops it at times
Brazil turned to cheer for Portugal just because, and they lost
What the fuck this cup is turning to be?
Let the hooligans pull up to a Waffle House trying to bring that smoke
What's next? Supporting Argentina? Silly cuntsBrazil turned to cheer for Portugal just because, and they lost
What the fuck this cup is turning to be?!
Oh I understand entirely what it's about. And my response to them is quit your whining and go cope. That's not the issue. You didn't understand what is was about, didn't you.
WTF you are turning to be.
Care to cheer for Argentina now?
There's a list on which countries we can choose to cheer if we loose, and we learn since the first infancy that Argentina is only an option if we can go after them laterWhat's next? Supporting Argentina? Silly cunts

Giving your historic (Brazil then Portugal) you better start to cheer for them. Don't waste the chance![]()
USMNT just shot themselves in the foot.
I don't know how much the rest of you know about Football culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in Soccer where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in Football, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is the football public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase FIFA World Cup Tickets for any stadium, nor will they watch any of USMNT's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but USMNT has alienated an entire market with this move.
Balogun, publicly apologize and cancel playing against Belgium or you can kiss your World Cup goodbye.
Not so sure about Egypt, but if thing turn out as I expect, Colombia might teach them a lesson.Don't underestimate Egypt. They play good football
Argentina isn't even a great team to begin with. They all play for Messi and thats about it
I mean yeah he's 40, he's definitely not prime Cristiano. When you have a golden team but compromise it just to satisfy Cristiano, you will look bad. Now it should be the opposite, it should Cristiano of the bench and he plays for his team and not the other way aroundOn TSN, the panel discussed Ronaldo 15 min ago saying he's not as good as 8-9 years ago and he cant keep up with elite players on Spain or his teammates.
No doubt makes sense he'd be worse since the guy is 40, but was their criticism valid and he's that bad now? Or unjust and they are just ragging on him losing?
Jeez, my friend, go to sleep, a healthy body and brain starts in the comfortability in the bed
He's remarkable for a 41 year old. But there's a reason he's no longer playing for a top European team. He's probably not the singular reason Portugal haven't done better, they have a lot of talent but haven't quite been able to put it together. But personally at this point I think that having Ronaldo in the first team is more of a hindrance than an advantage for them.On TSN, the panel discussed Ronaldo 15 min ago saying he's not as good as 8-9 years ago and he cant keep up with elite players on Spain or his teammates.

Not to get into the comparison thing but you can see the impact at those 39y old legs of Messi and the greater good that he can still bring to this day versus how a team has to play to appease a Ronaldo. It worked better when he was younger. Messi is 1 of 1. One of the few players that doesn't need to run and people recognize it.On TSN, the panel discussed Ronaldo 15 min ago saying he's not as good as 8-9 years ago and he cant keep up with elite players on Spain or his teammates.
