FIFA World Cup 2026 - It's Called Football, Not Soccer!

Yea, I agree he shouldn't have gotten it.

But he's not the first player to get a card he didn't deserve. They never get reversed.

The fact that his card was reversed... When he's scored the most goals for USA....When USA is hosting... After the President asked them to rethink their decision.... come on.

... its FIFA
I know this all too well, Real Madrid appeals every now and then for mistaken or clearly harsh decisions over the years. Not once have I seen any of it overturned.
By this logic.. as I imagined when VAR got introduced it should go both ways and start punishing missed fouls, dives and so on... yet none of this happening either.
So pretty weird to see this one happening for whatever reason.

From what I've gathered from other people who follow this sport, I admittedly really don't, is that officiating is kind of a dumpster fire to begin with. Maybe it needs some kind of actual overhaul? Seems very inconsistent. But again I should stress that I have not watched anywhere near enough of this sport to know any better.

It didn't get reversed, it got suspended. He isn't the first player in this tournament to have a ban suspended either, C. Ronaldo was the first.
My point still stands. The fact that a random-ass USA player (whos scored their most goals, while the USA is hosting, after the President got involved) is the first since friggin Ronaldo to have it suspended only reinforces my point.

fucking brazil cost me 6 sheets.

That $20 would have given me $635. Im confident the other countries will get it done.

Brazil are nothing but a name now.

Nobody like him. He's a freak of nature.

When he's in form in the Premier league he's absolutely terrifying.
Yeah there have been plenty of big attacking players over the years, they are generally good targets but not much else. Takes some special genetics and training to be able to maneuver that bulk like as if he was a much smaller man and also have a deft touch on the ball.

Doesn't really matter how much you'd watch. It really comes down to differences between the general referee approach of all the different leagues and countries. I can mainly speak for La Liga in Spain, this is very bad often in general.
Feels like corruption plays a big part for some counties instead having a general standard approach in yearly club football and their referees.

People have been trying to explain him for so long, he's not like Messi or Mbappe who dribbles or makes things happen. He doesn't score pretty goals, and there are times when you barely notice that he's on the field. But yet his scoring rate is the best in history. He is hard to explain as a fotballer.

It's 100% for the raw milk he drinks! And well all the rest of the "official" healthy guidelines he don't give a fuck to follow.

Brazil has never won a game against Norway. They played 5 times I think. No victory.
  • July 1988: 1-1 Draw (International Friendly)
  • May 1997: 4-2 Norway win (International Friendly)
  • June 1998: 2-1 Norway win (Group Stage, World Cup)
  • August 2006: 1-1 Draw (International Friendly)
  • July 2026: 2-1 Norway win (Round of 16, World Cup)
