I only have a phone to respond on most of the time and cant stand how cumbersome typing out long throughly thought through posts are on the thing.....So I get a bit lazy and just search for someone elses post I agree with to check so i dont have to deal with that shit.

English is my Nth language as well. Doesn't stop me from posting here.

That said, if "the 90%" suddenly starts posting, I have a feeling the overall quality of discourse around here will drop, maybe even significantly.

I post when I have something to say.

Also, the gaming side is a dumpster fire most of the time now so I'll read it but rarely will I engage with it.

I've been lurking since 2008, never saw the reason to join. But last year, I decided that the discussion looks like a lot of fun(better than it used to be in the crazy days of the psycho mods running this place.) and finally decided to create an account.

I usually don't bother unless I have what I think is a new angle to contribute.

On the gaming side, most opinions someone could possibly have are taken on the first page or so, and after that, it's a lot of repeats, or folks who are going back and forth in one-on-one arguments. So I lurk there more than I engage.

I would bet the majority of my posts are in off-topic where the people are more chill--unless we get a mod-approved politics-adjacent thread.
