Wow bleach is making a comeback, sounds good to me

I hope all that extra time he took was to make the Hell Arc really good

Sakamoto Days will end :messenger_persevering:

Most of the time I read manga that completed their run. So I'll be adding that to my read list for next year

Kubo will come back to save Jump. They've been running out of popular series in recent years. Even Sakamoto Days is about to end.

I hope he will be allowed to take breaks to stay healthy, because the weekly schedule is insane; even young authors end up having health issues in the long run.

Love it or hate it the 2020s are the decade of Bleach. It's more popular than ever and a lot of people have woken up to how good it actually is. Haters are just embarrassing themselves now.

For me ranking wise when it comes to Shounen

One Piece
Hunter X Hunter
Full Metal Alchemist
Fire Force
Dandadan
Naruto
Bleach

When it comes to Bleach, I think the manga peaked with Soul Society Arc where Ichigo and friends have to rescue Rukia before she got executed. I thought most of the stuff after that was good but nothing special. I did like the Thousand Year Blood War Arc more than the other Arcs that came after Soul Society Arc. I'm waiting on the anime to complete it's run so that I can binge watch all the episodes. I heard they did a great job. When it comes to Kubo Tite, the WAIFUs in Bleach are TOP TIER

I'm currently back to catching up on Hunter X Hunter. I'm 195 Chapters into the manga out of 410 Chapters. I just got to the Chimera Ant Arc. I thought the Greed Island Arc was great but not as good as the other previous Story Arcs I read. So far I'm really enjoying this manga, I'm just surprised by how dark this manga is when it comes to being a Shounen

Just catched up with the latest season of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Man, that last episode is absolutely fantastic animation wise.

Probably the best I have ever seen.

i never get tired of watching reactions to the anime of that arc in HxH, such a good series.

I still think One Piece is the better manga just due to the world building itself but I really love the direction the mangaka of Hunter X Hunter is taking certain characters like Gon

I should be fully caught up by either tommorow or Saturday night

I just finished Chimera Ant Arc and gonna to read more later

Any idea if the hxh manga is still on hiatus?

When it comes to Hunter X Hunter manga, I just got past the 13th Hunter Chairman Election Arc and the ending where Ging is explaining to Gon that there's a real world tree out there and climbing it let's you have access to the rest of world and that they are only living on a small part of the world. The Chimera Ants being from that side of the world was interesting to find out about. Also Killua sister is super scary too.

The twists this manga throws at me are really unexpected and I'm really liking how dark the story is getting

I should be all caught up with the manga soon

Witch Hat Atelier Season 1: A+

The animation in this show was magical and beautiful to look at. The Magic System is really unique and interesting. Also has a lot of depth to it. The world building is very rich and unique. The whole cast has lot of emotional depth to them. The English voice acting is really good. The story is fantastic and this season ends on a crazy cliffhanger. I plan to get back to the manga and continue from where I left off

Highly recommended

As for Hunter X Hunter Manga, I'm finally all caught up. I'm loving this current arc but man is it wordy and dense. I can see why people consider this shounen equally as good as One Piece. The manga so far has some interesting world building and the plot/character goes to some unexpected places. The Power System is very unique especially with the restrictions. Fights really feel like watching a chess instead of the usually rock paper scissors matches I would expect from other shounen series. The art is fantastic. I can't wait to read the latest chapter when it releases

I think Nippon Sangoku is anime of the year so far. Everything about it is great. Love the art style, animations, and the story. Breath of fresh air

The manga actually just restarted this week

did not expect the full on tits out nips out on the first eps of Dara-san Of The Reiwa Era since even the manga did not show nips. but I'm still very happy with the anime adaptation. they really got the vibe of the manga down perfectly.

Enjoy! D.gray man is really good, glad the author is still drawing and slowly finishing the series

No it isn't. I actually had a good time with how unserious and funny it is
It was funny early on when it was a failing gag manga turned battle shounen. Zero character depth, the main antagonist is a big nothing, there's not really much in big plot development besides people fighting. Has a bunch of ass pulls.

I've read the whole thing. It won't be remembered 10 years after it concludes.

Can't disagree and I'm actually fine with it. Not everything must be a masterpiece for it to become enjoyable

That seems correct to me.

The old series was kinda so-so imo, specially the tournament part and even more so since the anime was censored back then. Still worth it since Kid Baki gives Baki the reason to become stronger and the tournament arc introduces most if not all of the supporting cast for the rest of the anime.

Then comes the Netflix series. I love it and imo it gets better with each arc, plus there doesn't seem to be any censoring there and I've read online that people consider it a very good adaptation from the manga.

Coming away from Science Saru Gits while it's the original source material since everyone is familiar with the other works it goes down better if you approach it like you would Tenchi Universe after watching the OVAs.

Gonna pick up Iron Wok Jan this season and... That's it. Still gotta finish Kill Blue and Akane Banashi.
