Hope the animation is near the same level though, because that women turning around in the first trailer, swinging her hair, looked absolutely atricously unnatural.

Let's be honest here there's only a handful of studios that do animation as good as Rockstar, Naughty Dog spring's to mind.

Not pre-rendered, but some of those pictures have a weird lighting over the characters, i dont think this is fully representative of in-game looks (maybe photo mode has a hero lighting option, or maybe they just added one specifically for the promotional screenshots)

Looks 100% modern day, maybe precovid so late 2010s but not before that, vice city setting preorder bonuses are just so more ppl bite and buy 99$ version coz rockstar knows vice city is beloved game
Police bodycams are dead giveaway here and those started being tested in miami(vice city) in 2014, wide adoption depending on area of florida 2016 onwards

Pearl Abyss does with Crimson Desert. There are sections with tons of NPCs vast large bustling cities and they have 30/40/60 modes while looking stunning in a massive seamless open world.
